How do I place an order?

Browse our menu, add items to your cart by the pound, and check out online. You'll receive an order confirmation by email, and we'll follow up if we have any questions about your order.

Is there a minimum order?

Minimum order is 1 lb. We also offer three signature platter assortments (The Classic, The Celebration and The Signature), each available in Small (3 lbs), Medium (5 lbs), or Large (8 lbs).

How far in advance do I need to order?

Pickup orders require at least 4 days notice. Shipping orders require at least 14 days notice. We are closed Mondays, so please plan accordingly.

Can I place a large or wholesale order?

Yes, we accommodate corporate gifting, wedding favors, and large event orders. Online orders are limited to 30 lbs. For larger orders, email us at orders@persiancookies.com.

How many pounds should I order?

A good rule of thumb is 1 lb per 10 guests for a dessert table or party favor display. For a platter, roughly 2 lbs fills an 8″ plate, 3 to 4 lbs fills a 10″ plate, and a 12″ platter holds closer to 5 to 6 lbs depending on your cookie selection.

What are your most popular cookies?

Our bestsellers are Baghlava, Pistachio Rose, Versaille, Bereshtook, and Walnut Bereshtook. All make excellent gifts and are crowd favorites at events.

How is pricing structured?

All cookies are priced by the pound. By the Pound cookies are $36.31/lb and Premium cookies are $41.50/lb. Signature Gift Boxes are $57.06 each.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards online through Square. All orders must be paid in full at checkout. We do not accept cash.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final, so we do not offer refunds. See our Terms of Sale for details. If there is an issue with your order (wrong selection, damage in transit), please email us at orders@persiancookies.com and we will do our best to make it right.

Where are you located?

We're located at 1375 Blossom Hill Road, Suite 38, San Jose, CA 95118. Pickup is available Tuesday through Sunday (we are closed Mondays).

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! We ship via FedEx with multiple service options: Ground, 2-Day, 2-Day AM, Overnight, and Priority Overnight. Live shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. Shipping orders require 14 days notice.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only. Please contact us if you have special shipping needs.

Are all cookies safe to ship?

Most cookies ship beautifully with our foam-and-insulation packaging. However, Bereshtook, Nokhodchi Flowers, and Butterflies are more delicate and prone to breaking. We also cannot ship Bereshtook, Butterflies, or Nokhodchi during hot weather conditions. If you have concerns about a specific cookie, feel free to ask us before ordering.

Which cookies are gluten-free?

Our gluten-free options are: GF Bereshtook, Nokhodchi Flowers, Toot, Sohan Asali, and Walnut Puff. All are made with naturally gluten-free ingredients, though our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility.

Which cookies are egg-free?

Our egg-free options are: EGG-FREE Bereshtook, Nargili, Nokhodchi Flowers, Walnut Tear, Chocolate Hazelnut, Loz Badam, Walnut Bereshtook, Pistachio Rose, Toot, Sohan Asali, and Butterflies.

Are your cookies nut-free?

No, most of our Persian cookies contain tree nuts such as pistachios, almonds, or walnuts. We are not a nut-free kitchen. Please review individual cookie ingredients carefully if you have a nut allergy.

Are your cookies vegan?

Some cookies are dairy-free and egg-free, but many use ghee (clarified butter) or eggs. Please review the ingredient list for each cookie or ask us directly for guidance.

Do your cookies contain saffron?

Several of our premium cookies, including Loz Badam, Baghlava, Versaille, and Sohan Asali, are made with saffron, which is a traditional ingredient in Persian sweets.

How should I store my cookies?

Store your cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Some cookies, especially Toot, Nargili, Loz Badam, and Baghlava, dry out quickly and particularly benefit from being kept cool.

How long do the cookies stay fresh?

Most cookies stay fresh for up to 3 weeks when refrigerated in an airtight container. Sturdy nut-based cookies like Bereshtook and Sohan Asali keep especially well. Toot, Nargili, Loz Badam, and Baghlava are best enjoyed within the first week or two for peak texture.

Can I freeze the cookies?

Yes, most varieties freeze exceptionally well. Place in an airtight freezer bag and freeze for up to 6 months. Thaw at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes before serving.
